Snapmaker U1 Spool BOX is out!

🚀 FINALLY… THEY’RE HERE.

Snapmaker U1 Spool Box – Ultimate Bundle (SpoolBox + Draw)

After the POD project , I’m super excited to finally introduce the new Snapmaker U1 Side Spool Box by CC3D Projects.

I’ve been absolutely flooded with messages asking“WHEN are these coming out?!"

Well… I finally made it happen.

And man… what a journey LOL.

After months of designing, testing, redesigning, prototyping, and tweaking every little detail, the new side Spool Boxes are finally ready.

The whole idea follows the same philosophy behind the POD project:creating upgrades that don’t feel like random add-ons… but like something that should’ve been part of the Snapmaker U1 from day one.

Now it’s time for a system designed to seriously improve filament management.

✨ Features:

• Integrated side Spool Boxes

• Compatible with the PolyDryer system

• Humidity protection

• Clean design perfectly matched to the U1

• Quick and easy filament loading

• Optimized cable and filament routing

• LED-ready with inspection windows• Built for multi-material printing and engineering filaments

The goal was simple:make something that truly feels like Snapmaker should’ve designed it this way from the beginning.

And finally… here they are ❤️

Drawer magnetic latch system only has magnet spots on the drawer (green) side, no magnet holes on the gray side… 😢

If I didn't want the heater / dryer (bottom part) would the spool boxes sit flush on a table without the riser / drawer? I like the idea of the dry boxes with just some desiccant. Would be much more cost effective and hopefully I wouldn't have to raise up the printer. Can this be done or do you have an option for this mod? Maybe the bottom section you just fill up with a bunch of desiccant instead of adding the $80 heater on each side?
