Happy New Year, friends and fellow creators!
We’ve finally stepped into 2025, and I want to take this moment to wish you all an amazing year packed with energy, success, and… even better-performing 3D printers! 🎉
This past year? Wow, what a ride. A total rollercoaster: new job, new vision, new mindset. It’s been a whirlwind of changes that left me full of adrenaline and tons of fresh ideas. But enough about that—let’s get to the good stuff: the HDRY System Project.
Hot off the press: We’re in the final stretch!
The finish line is so close I can almost touch it. The last tweaks are being made, and soon, very soon, I’ll finally be ready to release the model. Let me give you a quick rundown of all the updates and improvements (and trust me, there’s a lot to unpack):
Let me quickly remind you why you need an HDRY System in your life:
You’ve got multiple printers and need a compact filament dryer that grows alongside your expanding printer lineup.
You’re drowning in AMS units and desiccant gel, and you're ready for a more convenient, space-saving solution.
You want to manage multiple single-filament printers with a single, streamlined system.
The HDRY System is here to make your life easier, more efficient, and way more organized!
What’s new with the HDRY System?
Goodbye DIY dehumidifier, hello Polydryer! More practical, more powerful, and way easier for everyone to use.
Optimized internal structure: We cut material usage by 18%, streamlined printing, and made the whole design more eco-friendly. 🌱
Smaller footprint: The module height has been reduced by 40mm for better space efficiency.
Infinite modularity: You can stack up to 4 modules—or go wild and keep adding as many as you like. 🔁
Better sealing: Redesigned doors for maximum airtightness. Bye-bye, humidity!
Redesigned top and bottom: Because functionality and style matter.
And here’s what’s been added:
Top with a steam valve: A game-changer, no doubt.
Bottom with wheels: Move your whole setup without breaking a sweat. Just a gentle push and you’re good to go! 💪
All-in-one setup: Picture this—a 2-module cabinet that holds the Drawer 2.0 with your printer on top. Add some wheels, 2 AMS units, and voilà! The ultimate maker’s dream on wheels!
Almost there!
I’m currently laser-focused on wrapping up the final details. The print files are nearly done, and I’m working on a clear, easy-to-follow assembly guide. If all goes to plan, we’re just about a week away from the official release announcement. 🥳
Let’s talk sales:
I’ve thought long and hard about how to offer this system. At first, I considered selling a base module with optional add-ons. But the more I thought about it, the less it made sense. So… I switched gears!
The module will be available in a way that lets you expand your setup however you like right from the start, One purchase, all-inclusive—everything you need, all in one go!
My goal is simple: create designs that are maker-friendly, easy to reproduce, and 100% transparent. What you see is exactly what you get—no hidden surprises.
Thank you all so much for your support, patience, and enthusiasm. I can’t wait to show you the final result and hear what you think.
Big hugs to everyone,
Enrico
